JAMMU, Mar 19: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh units of Climate Front of India staged protest demonstrations in J&K and Ladakh.
A handout claimed that the protest was held across 150 plus countries.
In Jammu the protest was led by Aditya Khajuria, president of Climate Front of Jammu.
Addressing protesters Khajuria said: “We need to act for climate now. We need to show our love and affection for the nature and at the same time try to save our natural resources.”
He also said, “We want our future generations to live on this planet as well and lead a normal and sustainable life.”
In Srinagar, the protest was organized at Islamia College, Hawal where the protesters distributed pamphlets among the people to aware them on climate and related issues.
The protest was held at Skara Spang in Ladakh where the protesters raised slogans and held placards with slogans to aware people about climate.
Anmol Ohri, Founding Director Climate Front India said: “We need to unite and raise our voice for climate because we are already running out of time and the earth now needs us more than ever.”
