Clerical staff stages protest demonstration

JAMMU, Sept 15: Clerical cadre employees held protest demonstration at all the district headquarters in support of their long pending demand of removing pay anomalies, across the State today.
The employees under the banner of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh All Departments Clerical Cadre Staff Association held protest outside the office of Divisional Commissioner Jammu at Rail Head complex here and also at all other district headquarters. They were demanding removal of pay anomalies without any delay.
The trade union leaders including Ravi Singh Bhau,  Anil Mehta, Sukhbir Singh, Yashpal Sharma, Ravi Kumar, Brijesh Mehta, Onkar Chand, Hamid Hussain, RD Thappa, J R Sagar and others addressed the gathering at Rail Head Complex and criticised the Government for not honouring its commitment.  They condemned the callous and step motherly treatment of the Government towards clerical cadre employees who are considered as the backbone of any Government.
At Kathua, the clerical cadre employees held protest at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park under the leadership of Manohar Singh, district president  of the Association. In Udhampur,   Balbir Singh, Mool Raj and Gurjit Singh were leading the protest while at Reasi, Raghunath and Kuldip Kotwal led the protest.
In Samba Veena Choudhary and Ajay Sharma led the strong protest demonstration at DC office complex while in Rajouri Babu Ram and Gurmeet Singh were leading. The reports of similar protests were also received from Poonch, Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar.
