Clerical Staff delegation calls on PSC Chairman

JAMMU, May 5: A joint delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir All Department Clerical Staff Association, led by its State President Babu Hussain Malik, met with Arun Kumar Choudhary, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (PSC), to raise long-pending issues concerning the clerical cadre.
The delegation included senior trade union leaders Yashpaul Sharma, Munish Sharma, Naresh Sharma, Seva Ram Rathore, Meenakshi Sharma, Arun Sharma, Mohd Sadiq, Vikas Chander, Sham Singh Chib, and Mohd Saleem.
The primary focus of the meeting was the long-delayed declaration of Secretariat Assistant Course results.
During the meeting, the delegation urged the Chairman to ensure early resolution of the matter.
They highlighted the growing frustration among employees awaiting the outcome, which directly affects their career progression.
The Chairman gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised and assured the delegation that the genuine demands of the clerical staff would be addressed at the earliest.
He also expressed appreciation for the dedication and service of the clerical cadre across various departments.
The meeting also touched upon other critical issues being faced by clerical employees in Jammu and Kashmir.
The delegation expressed hope that the administration will act swiftly to redress their concerns.
