SRINAGAR, June 3: A Joint meeting of Jammu-Kashmir- Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association was held here today to highlight their demand of removing the pay anomaly of the cadre.
From Jammu, Ravi Singh Bhau, president, Jammu Province, Ram Dass Thapa and Sunil Kumar, participated in the meeting while from Srinagar Nusrat Beig, State chairman, Farhat Kashmiri, Mohd Sultan, GH Malik, Shadi Lal Pandita and Noor Mohd Baba attended the meeting.
While addressing the meeting, Bhau condemned the step motherly treatment of the Government, which failed to implement its various agreements made with the representatives of the Association.
Nusrat Beig said that this indifferent attitude of the Government has compelled them to choose the path of agitation.
Both the leaders jointly appealed the clerical cadre to gear up the campaign and observe complete two-day pen down strike on June 18 and 19, 2013.
The meeting jointly appealed all the factions of EJACs and associations to support the strike.
