Class X results highlight rising performance of Waqf Board schools: Dr Darakhshan

JAMMU, Jan 14: Educational institutions run by the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board have emerged as centres of excellence in the Class X board examination results declared today, registering a marked improvement across all Board-managed schools.
This was stated by Chairperson of the J&K Waqf Board, Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, while expressing satisfaction over the performance, stating that the results reflect the success of the Board’s focused roadmap aimed at improving academic standards and institutional governance. “Our educational institutions have become centres of distinction. The results clearly testify that the Waqf Board stands for excellence and continuous improvement,” she said.
Dr Andrabi attributed the improved performance to structured reforms, enhanced monitoring, and the dedication of teaching staff. She highlighted the collective efforts of the Waqf Board management, hardworking teachers, parents, and students who delivered outstanding results.
The Waqf Chairperson announced that students who secured honours and brought recognition to their respective institutions will be felicitated by the Board. She said such achievements serve as motivation to further strengthen the quality of education in Waqf-managed schools.
“These results will boost our efforts and inspire all of us to rededicate ourselves towards further improvement and academic excellence,” Dr Andrabi said, reiterating the Board’s commitment to sustained reforms and student-centric development in its educational institutions.
