JAMMU, Dec 20: To discuss their various issues on the tourism front and problems, a delegation of CII Council today called on Transport Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan and Director Tourism Vikas Gupta here today.
The delegation was led by Dr M A Alim, Vice Chairman CII council accompanied by Sanjay Gupta and Sudanshu Sharma.
During their meeting with the Transport Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan, the delegation discussed the various issues of traffic related problems and suggested some measures to curb them.
Then Transport Commissioner assured all help and welcomed the suggestion.
The delegation also raised their issues with the Director Tourism Vikas Gupta.
The Director Tourism assured the CII delegation of full support and sought their cooperation to highlight the tourism potential in Jammu division.
Future collaboration to create awareness amongst the people and specially the student’s community was agreed upon to help create a safe and positive environment to avoid mishaps specially related to underage driving leading to many fatal accidents in the past.
