JAMMU, Apr 17: Noted refugee leader Rajiv Chuni was today unanimously re-elected as chairman of the SOS International, an organization of displaced persons from Pak occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The election meeting of the SOS International,  was held here today to elect its chairman.  In order to conduct free and fair election, Prof JS Mangal, a senior member of the community was made election incharge through a unanimous resolution by the organisation. By the same resolution, it was also decided that the election is meant to elect the chairman only and whosoever will be elected as chairman will have the right to nominate all other office bearers of the management committee of SOS International.
While announcing election result  Prof JS Mangal, said that as per election schedule, the last date to file nomination was April 15, 2016 upto 5 pm and till that date,  only one nomination of Rajiv Chuni proposed by Roshan Lal and seconded by VK Dutta was received.
