JAMMU, Nov 7: Giving further momentum to its campaigning in Nagrota Assembly Segment going to polls on November 11, BJP leaders addressed huge election rallies and meetings in the constituency today.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary and J&K Prabhari, Tarun Chugh, along with BJP J&K president and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma (CA), addressed massive public rallies in support of the party’s candidate Devyani Rana at village Dyaran in Panchayat Kangrail and village Ranjan in Mathwar Mandal, Nagrota constituency.
The rallies, marked by overwhelming public enthusiasm, were also addressed by senior BJP leaders including MLA and in charge for Nagrota by-election Sham Lal Sharma, DDC Chairperson and Co-in charge Bharat Bhushan, MLA, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, MLA Mohan Lal, Ayodhya Gupta, Neha Mahajan, and Ranjodh Singh Nalwa.

Tarun Chugh, in his address, said that the massive gathering reflects people’s faith in Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s vision and BJP’s commitment to inclusive development. “The people of Nagrota are ready to script a new chapter of progress under the leadership of Devyani Rana. BJP stands for transparent governance, youth empowerment, and upliftment of the poor and this is exactly what Devyani Rana represents,” he said. He also accused opposition parties of deceiving people for decades and urged voters to reject their politics of division and false promises.
Sat Sharma lauded the public response and said that the forthcoming Nagrota by-election is not merely a political contest but a movement for change and development. “People are witnessing how BJP has transformed Jammu & Kashmir through welfare schemes, infrastructure growth, and empowerment of the grassroots. Devyani Rana’s victory will strengthen this mission,” he said.
Sham Lal Sharma emphasized that Devyani Rana’s candidacy reflects the aspirations of youth and women who want a stronger and more responsive leadership.
BJP Rajya Sabha MP, Ghulam Ali Khatana today carried out an extensive door-to-door campaign in support of BJP candidate from Nagrota Assembly constituency, Devyani Rana. He interacted with locals, listened to their concerns, and highlighted the historic development achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Khatana said that the BJP Government has worked tirelessly for the people of Jammu & Kashmir, bringing visible changes in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and social welfare. He appealed the people to vote for Devyani Rana the party candidate to continue the tempo of development in the constituency.
Senior BJP leader and former Minister Bali Bhagat today chaired a election strategy meeting of senior party functionaries and workers in Panchayat Ban-Bhalwal of Nagrota Assembly Constituency, aimed at strengthening grassroots-level coordination and ensuring the party’s robust performance in the upcoming election in Nagrota Assembly constituency.
Addressing the gathering, Bali Bhagat emphasized the importance of organizational discipline, booth-level mobilization, and direct public engagement in securing an absolute majority for the BJP candidate Devyani Rana.
Meanwhile the BJP Mahila Morcha (J&K), under the leadership of Neha Mahajan, its State president, carried out an impactful door-to-door outreach at Booth No. 66, Dharam Khoo, Panchayat Lower Amb in Amb Gharota Mandal.
Accompanying her were senior State office bearers Poonam Gupta, Prerna Nanda, Suman Raina and Poonam Gupta who actively participated in engaging with local residents, women, and youth. The team inspired voters to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi by ensuring a decisive victory for BJP candidate Devyani Rana in the upcoming by-election.
