JAMMU, Aug 16: The members of Christian community today protested at Bari Brahmna and blocked the National Highway against a blasphemous act which allegedly has become viral on Facebook.
The protesters with pla- cards and banners in their hands raised the slogans against both State and Central Governments saying such acts will not be tolerated. They said the act has hurt their religious sentiments a lot.
However, later on the intervention of police which resorted to cane charge the protesters were dispersed and traffic was restored on National Highway.
