JAMMU, Nov 14: Samvedna Society chairman, Keshav Chopra here today in collaboration with Sood Eye Centre organised the 88th free eye screening camp at Kali Mata Temple in Talab Tillo.
The Camp was inaugurated by Arvind Gupta, MLA Jammu West along with Superintendent of Police (Jammu North), Brijesh Kumar Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarter), Ashok Kumar and Dr. Parneesh Mahajan.
A total of 108 patients were provided free of cost treatment in the Camp and this included refraction, NCT, AR check up and vision check up by a team headed by Dr Bala and free medicines were also given to the patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta talked about the importance of regular check-up camps and said how this noble initiative is contributing to the betterment of mankind.
Brijesh Kumar Sharma said that the Camp surely benefited patients who required ophthalmic consultations by an expert team of doctors,
Keshav Chopra informed that they intend to organize more such camps in future to provide best treatment to the common man at doorstep.
Optometrists—Shubham and Brijesh along with Rakesh Bali, Atul Bakshi, Anupam Gupta, Pritipal Singh, Sucha Singh, Arun Dubey, Rahul Nargotra, Rajesh Saini, Naveen Sharma, K.L Sharma, Puneet Chawla, Karan Sharma, Mohit Vaid, Jatin Gupta, Chakshu Kapoor, Ranju Vaid, Gurcharan Singh, Ashish, Lovekesh Gondi, L.K Bhagat, Vishal Mahajan, Rohit Gupta, Manoj Tandon, Vikas Kumar, Pyare Mawa and others were also present in the Camp.
