JAMMU, July 7: J&K BJP vice president, Aseem Gupta here today flagged off the revered Chitto Mata Yatra from Digiana.
The spiritually significant journey will lead devotees to the sacred shrine of Chitto Mata in Paddar, Kishtwar. The Yatra saw participation of over 1500 devotees.
The event was graced by the presence of SP South, Ajay Sharma, Tarun Sharma, former District president, Sat Pal Choudhary, Rajesh Sharma and Ashwini Khajuria.
J&K police and civil administration have provided seamless arrangements and tight security for the yatra.
Speaking on the occasion, Aseem Gupta said, “this yatra is not only a spiritual journey but also a reflection of deep-rooted cultural unity of our people.”
He further said that under the visionary leadership of PM Modi, J&K is moving steadily on the path of peace, prosperity and spiritual resurgence.
Gupta said, “the devotion in the heart of yatris is the true heartbeat of Jammu.” He urged the devotees to be ambassadors of peace and brotherhood during the pilgrimage.
