Chitto Mata Jyot Yatra from tomorrow

JAMMU, June 29: The annual 14th Chitto Mata, also known as Singhasan Mata, Jyot Yatra, is going to begin from July 1 at Rani Talab Digiana towards the holy abode of Goddess nestled in Gulabgarh of Kishtwar district.
The decision in this regard was taken by the management committee during its meeting held under the chairmanship of Pritpal Singh ‘Lovely’, president of the Singhasan Mata Sewak Sanstha -Chitto Paddar.
The holy pilgrimage will start in wee hours of July 1, from Jammu Rani Talab Digiana (Chito Bhawan).
Amid traditional religious rituals, a Sewak will take out Akhand Jyot from Jammu towards holy shrine in Padder. Adequate tented accommodation at Chitto Dham and other arrangements have been made for the devotees by the Singhasan Mata Sewak Sanstha.
The holy shrine of Chitto Mata, popularly known as Singhasan Mata, is situated about 310 Kms from Jammu city.
