KATRA, Mar 20: An 11- year old child pilgrim from Delhi was knocked to death when a load carrier engaged with the Shrine Board hit him on Tarakote track, here today.
As per the information, the pilgrim namely Lakshmi Chouhan, son of Niranjan Chouhan, resident of New Delhi , was on pilgrimage along with his parentage. The family was on way to the Bhawan from Tarakote track when a load carrier JK20A- 9963 hit him resulting his on the spot death.
Later the dead body was shifted to CHC Katra for postmortem while Katra Police have registered a case in this connection.
