JAMMU, Nov 14: A 15-year-old child working at a sweet shop in Janipur area was rescued today by Labour Department.
A team of officers of Labour Department under the supervision of Assistant Labour Commissioner, Jammu conducted surprise checking of shops and other establishments in Janipur area and rescued one child working at a sweet shop.
The rescued child labour was handed over to Child Welfare Committee at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu for rehabilitation.
