SAMBA, Aug 12: One child died after drowning in a pond at village Sodam in Sumb block of Samba district today.
He has been identified as Kaka Ram,7, son of Chiman Lal of Ward No. 2 Village Sodam block Sumb. The local people brought out the dead body from the pond and handed over to the family members.
The Samba police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law in this regard.
