JAMMU, Mar 2: A nine-year-old child died in Bishnah area here after a scooty he was riding on was allegedly hit by an army crane.
Pranev Sharma son of Jeet Raj of Ward number 3, Bishnah, died when the two-wheeler was hit by an army crane at Bhatyari area around 10 am, a police official said.

He said the body of the deceased child has been handed over to his parents after conducting the post-mortem examination while as a case FIR number 20/2025 under sections 281, 106 of the BNS has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and further investigation started.
