JAMMU, June 6:  The Chhari Yatra departed with chanting of Maa Chandi slogans during a religious program organized at Mata Mindhal Wali Darbar located in Sathar village of Akhnoor.
The Chhari Yatra, which was led by Bunty Sharma, Sevak of Mata Mindhal Wali Darbar, was flagged off by Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha president Sudesh Magotra and social worker Narendra Singh Bhau.
While speaking on the occasion Sharma said that this was their 10th Chhari Yatra and they undertake this Yatra every year.  During this journey our first stop is Kishtwar, after that we reach the temple of Mindhal Mata via Gulabgarh- Paddar. It is due to the grace of Mata Rani that the number of devotees is increasing every year.
On this occasion Bhau said that it is a matter of great fortune that today we have been sent on the Chhari Yatra to seek divine blessings from Mata Mindhal. He said that new generation should also be connected with our Sanatani culture.
May the blessings of the Mother Goddess remain on everyone for today’s journey. On this occasion the president of the Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha Sudesh Magotra said that sometimes such journeys become memorable.  People from all sections should participate in today’s journey. Best wishes to all for this, may Mata Rani fulfill everyone’s wishes.
Pandit Thodu Ram Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Kali Sharma, Pandit Wali, Vallu Takiya, Gola Saraf, Satpal Sharma, Vikas Dubey, Shiva Sharma, along with a large number of devotees, chanting slogans in praise of Mother Bhagwati were present on the occasion.
