MENDHAR, May 29: The villagers from Thamlote area of Chhajla in Mendhar Sub Division are without electricity for the last about three weeks.
The locals of the area alleged that electric transformer installed by the PDD authorities at the village went out of order about three weeks back, but despite repeated requests to the concerned JE and other field staff, the same could not be restored till today.
They alleged that the concerned AEE, when contacted today claimed that they had no spare transformer and the same has been sent for repair to Surankote workshop of PDD. As and when it is received, the same will be re-installed there.
