DODA, June 26: Police here today filed a charge sheet against the administrators of controversial Instagram account ‘Bhaderwah Confession’ for allegedly defaming many individuals especially youth by sharing their false, fabricated and malicious contents about personal affairs.
As per the case, following receipt of a written complaint at Police Station Bhaderwah a case was registered against unknown administrators of the Instagram page for spreading false stories, causing defamation and significant damage to personal lives of people.
Accordingly on the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, an FIR with No. 03/2025 U/S 351(2), 351(3), 351(4) 352, 353 BNS and 66 (D) of IT Act was registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
During investigation was found that the accused persons were minors have created an Instagram page ‘Bhaderwah confessions’ by using fake ID.
After completing investigation, a Challan was prepared and produced before the Court of Juvenile Justice Board Doda for Judicial determination.
