BISHNAH, Nov 25: Congress Party further accelerated its political activities by organizing public meetings at village Dhendy Khurd, Morchapur and Nougran in which a large number of Sarpanchs/ Panchs/ prominent villagers and congress workers participated.
The meetings were addressed by G S Charak emphasizing upon the agenda formulated regarding opening avenues for the recruitment of local youth in the armed forces and other belt forces and also streamlining the system of old age and widow pension scheme as it has been observed that deserving beneficiaries are not getting the benefits presently. Fresh details will be prepared to ensure that deserving persons are enlisted for the schemes. He said the same is the case with MGNREGA scheme.
He asserted that it will be his sincere efforts that genuine persons are benefited under the old age/widow pension and MGNREGA schemes. Other developmental works will also be undertaken in hand and pension schemes. Mr Charak explained that the Congress Manifesto which has been released recently ensures equitable development of all areas and employment and provisions of basic amenities to all. He said that if he is elected, he will ensure that Bishnah constituency gets everything on priority as promised in the manifesto.
Local leaders and the prominent citizens lauded the efforts of Mr Charak who is keen to see the Bishnah constituency developed. Capt (Retd) Harshvardhan Sadotra, Capt (Retd) Rattan Lal Choudhary, Madan Lal, secretary BCC, Master Baldev Choudhary and others also apprised the people about the programmes and agenda of the Congress party to re-generate development of the area on priority. They appealed the people to strengthen the hands of Mr Charak to accomplish the job.
