JAMMU, July 1: The Central Goods and Services Tax (CGST) Department today celebrated GST Day with a special event organized at its office in GST Bhawan, Bahu Plaza.
The celebration brought together key stakeholders from the legal, business and tax communities.
The event was hosted by the CGST Department under the leadership of commissioner, Pravin Chandra, who extended invitations to prominent members of the tax fraternity, including Bageshwar Khajuria, vice president of the Tax Bar Association Jammu, along with other senior tax advocates.
The Tax Bar Association presented mementos to Commissioner Pravin Chandra, assistant commissioners Sachin Pagar, Sunil Lamba, Satendra Pawar and other senior CGST officers, acknowledging their dedication and service in the administration of GST.
Arun Gupta, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jammu, was also present, along with other eminent personalities from the business community.
