JAMMU, Apr 7: A seminar on topic ‘Build with AI Bootcamp’ organized by the Department of Emerging Technologies at Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC), CGC Landran, was held here today.
The seminar was organized in collaboration with Google for Developers and powered by Hack2Skill.
The event aimed to provide participants with practical exposure to artificial intelligence through the theme ‘Learn, Build and Deploy with Google AI.’
The bootcamp brought together students and industry professionals for a series of technical sessions and interactive learning experiences.
Experts including Shweta Singh, Prabav Walia, Aashi Dutt and Simarpreet Singh shared insights into real-world applications of artificial intelligence, current industry trends and innovation-led development practices.
The dignitaries were welcomed by Dr. Rajdeep Singh, Campus Director, CGC Landran; Dr Ashok Kumar, Director Academics; Dr Sukhpreet Kaur, Director-Principal, CEC; and Dr Kapil Mehta, Head of the Department of Emerging Technologies.
The sessions covered key areas such as generative AI, machine learning models, and cloud-based AI deployment.
Participants engaged in hands-on activities designed to help them translate theoretical concepts into practical solutions across domains such as healthcare, cybersecurity, education and automation.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kapil Mehta said, “The objective of this bootcamp was to equip students with practical AI skills and a problem-solving mindset. Exposure to real-world tools and industry practices is essential for preparing students to meet evolving technological demands.”
