MOHALI, June 27: Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri hosted the International Teaching Excellence Program (ITEP) 2025, bringing together over 20 delegates from more than 10 countries including Australia, Canada, Mauritius, the UAE, and South Africa.
A statement said the summit aimed to foster global academic collaboration and innovation in higher education.
It said the event was inaugurated by Deepak Anand, Member of Provincial Parliament from Mississauga-Malton, Ontario, Canada, who underlined the role of education in building global understanding and sustainable progress.
His keynote address set the tone for the summit, which focused on redefining teaching methods and nurturing globally aware students.
The three-day event featured interactive workshops, expert sessions, and discussions focused on enhancing institutional excellence and promoting cross-border academic partnerships.
Delegates exchanged insights on pedagogical strategies, digital innovation in education, and global best practices.
CGC Jhanjeri’s Managing Director, Arsh Dhaliwal, highlighted the college’s vision of integrating international exposure into its academic ecosystem.
He said that such collaborations are vital to shaping a future-ready generation and that global experience must become an essential part of modern education.

Director of International Affairs, Simran Dhaliwal also played a key role in the program’s success as her leadership helped CGC Jhanjeri form meaningful partnerships with international institutions, translating into opportunities for students and faculty alike.
The ITEP 2025 concluded with a renewed commitment to educational excellence and global cooperation.
