NEW DELHI, Dec 11: Mukesh Kumar Gombar was elected as chairperson and Aslam Mahboob as vice chairperson of the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) the elections of which were held here, today.
The election results were declared today at Okhla, New Delhi, in presence of member-exporters and members of the Committee of Administration, including Aslam Mahboob, Kuldeep Raj Wattal, Bodh Raj Malhotra, Deepak Khanna, Husain Jafar Husaini, Imtiaz Ahmad, Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Mehraj Yasin Jan, Mohd. Wasif Ansari, Piyush Kumar Baranwal, Rohit Gupta, Shaukat Khan, Sheikh Ashiq Ahmad, and Sanjay Kumar Gupta.
A handout issued by the Council said members of the Election Committee, Onkar Nath Misra and Umesh Kumar Gupta, were also present. The Returning Officer, Dr. Smita Nagarkoti, along with the observer appointed by the Ministry, Dr. Sukhbir Singh Badhal, conducted and supervised the declaration of results in the presence of the scrutinizer.
