UDHAMPUR, Apr 28: Chief Education Officer, Udhampur Bishan Singh along with Deputy CEO today warned the teachers and other staff members of dire consequences who remained absent from duty as the same affects the academic career of the students.
Mr Singh after joining his new place of posting few days back, today made a surprise visit of Government Higher Secondary School Boys Udhampur and Government Girls High School Udhampur. While he found the functioning of GHSS Boys Udhampur up to the mark, he showed concern over the poor performance of Girls High School Udhampur where some teaching staff members were absent.
The CEO took serious exception as Physical Education teacher of the School had gone on one month’s long leave when the same was not even sanctioned by the Headmaster. He gave strict instructions to the staff in this regard.
He ordered disciplinary action against the erring teaching staff who were absent from duty and also stressed teaching community members to be punctual and show best results in academics. He warned that no leniency will be shown to those staff members who remain absent from duty in future.
