JAMMU, Mar 13: MLA Bahu Constituency, Vikram Randhawa today reaffirmed that the Modi Government is committed to the holistic development of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that infrastructure, connectivity, and public welfare remain top priorities under the Government at the Centre.
The senior BJP leader was speaking after kick-starting the much-awaited blacktopping work of Sunjwan main road, aiming to provide smooth connectivity and ease commuting challenges for residents.
Accompanied by AEE Vikram Billowria and JE Inam Bhat from the concerned department, the MLA formally launched the work in presence of BJP Bahu Mandal president Surjeet Singh, general secretaries Ajay Sharma and Sudhgar Lal, secretary Madan Lal, Rakesh Kumar, vice president Sanjay Sharma, Daljeet Singh and Harshmeet Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Randhawa highlighted that holistic development goes beyond basic infrastructure, encompassing education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and environmental sustainability. He reiterated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) is being effectively implemented in J&K, with Bahu Constituency witnessing rapid progress in multiple sectors.
He emphasized that BJP remains dedicated to ensuring infrastructural advancements across the region. He highlighted that the blacktopping of Sunjwan main road was a long-pending demand of the residents, and its fulfillment under the Modi Government reflects the Party’s vision of holistic development.
The MLA assured the public that various developmental projects, including roads, water supply, and sanitation, will continue at a fast pace, reaffirming BJP’s commitment to inclusive growth and an improved standard of living for every citizen. “I assure the people of Bahu constituency that more such projects will be taken up for execution in a time-bound manner,” he stated.
