LEH, May 18: Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson today visited the LREDA Office Complex and the ITI Complex in Leh.
At the LREDA complex, the team conducted a site inspection to identify and finalise a suitable location for setting up a training centre.
Once the site is confirmed, the Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be prepared and hands-on training programmes will be initiated.
Later, the officials visited the ITI Complex to review the infrastructure development that has taken place since Ladakh became a Union Territory. The complex has seen construction of new classrooms, landscaping, cafeteria, and other supporting facilities.
The visit aimed to assess the extent of this progress and explore suitable spaces within the premises for establishing the proposed training centre.
EC Stanzin Chosphel, Administrative Secretary Shashanka Ala, DC/CEO LAHDC Leh Santosh Sukhadeve, nominated Councillor Ven. Konchok Tsepel and CPO Tsewang Gyalson were also present on the occasion.
