JAMMU, Oct 31: A warm farewell was accorded to Mumtaz Ahmed, Chief Engineer (Project) and Vijay Sharma, Senior Assistant, who retired after more than three decades of service from the Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) today.
A statement said the farewell function was organised at the Chief Engineer Project office to honour their long and distinguished careers.
The event was attended by several senior officers and colleagues, including Vijay Kumar Bamotra, Chief Engineer (Planning); KK Thappa, Chief Engineer (Distribution); Vinod Baloach, Technical Officer to Chief Engineer; engineers Sardari Lal, Aijaz ur Rehman; Asif, Financial Advisor, JKSPDC; and Sachin Tickoo, President JKEEGA.
Speakers on the occasion lauded the retirees for their professionalism, sincerity, and commitment to the department’s growth.
The contribution and work ethic of the retirees were also described as a source of inspiration for the younger employees.
Both officers were extended warm wishes for a peaceful, healthy, and fulfilling post-retirement life.
