JAMMU, June 19: Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Limited (CCBL), Jammu headed by Parveen Sharma, Chairman, co-opted two professional directors to its Board.
Surinder Singh, who is advocate by profession and having a very rich experience of serving on the Board of the Bank earlier also, has been nominated in the Board being an expert in legal matters. Further, Joginder Singh who is Chartered Accountant by profession and leading tax consultant of Jammu, who had also served on the Board of J&K Bank as well as the Citizens’ Cooperative Bank earlier, has also been nominated to the Board of the Bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Parveen Sharma applauded the role of both the professional directors during their earlier tenure also in providing expert advice to the management in various matters and expressed confidence that this time also their services and advice shall prove fruitful to the bank in running its management effectively.
Other members of the Board present on the occasion were Suresh Gupta, Varinder Singh Jamwal, Sumant Singh Jamwal, Charanjeet Singh Raina, Sachin Gupta, Suneel Mahajan and Ashwani Puri.
With the introduction of two professional directors, the strength of the Board of the Bank is now enhanced to 11 including 9 elected members.
