CBI organizes outreach programme for underprivileged children

JAMMU, Dec 23: As part of its 115th Foundation Day celebrations, Central Bank of India, (CBI) Chandigarh Zone, organised an outreach programme at Vriddhi School, Jagatpura, Mohali, benefitting underprivileged children from weaker sections of society.
The programme began with a welcome address by Pranita Biswas, visionary founder of Vriddhi School, who lauded the Bank’s commitment towards inclusive education and social upliftment.
On the occasion, Arvind Kumar, Zonal Head, Chandigarh, along with senior officials, distributed 115 warm sweaters, school bags, notebooks and stationery items.
In his address, Kumar emphasised that empowering young minds through education is vital for sustainable nation-building.
The initiative reaffirms Central Bank of India’s steadfast commitment to corporate social responsibility, inclusive growth and community welfare, reinforcing its legacy as a responsible and people-centric public sector bank.
