SAMBA, Apr 19: A Crime Branch team carried out a raid at the residence of Tarseem Singh alias Mannu, son of Kulvir Singh, resident of Densar Gali No. 02, tehsil Bari Brahmana, district Samba today.
The operation was conducted in the presence of Naib Tehsildar, Rahul Kumar and Inspector, Taranjeet Singh from the Crime Branch. Police said, the raid was initiated following multiple complaints alleging that Tarseem Singh had committed fraud by taking money from individuals under the pretext of facilitating their travel abroad and securing jobs in the Army and other security forces.
Tarseem Singh was not present at the residence during the raid. However, the officials seized several documents including his bank statements, Aadhar card, and other relevant papers.
