JAMMU, Feb 13: J&K National Trade Union Front held a protest demonstration of casual labourers, pressing for their burning demands.
The protesting casual labourers were raising slogans under the trade union leader Mohammed Gafoor Dar, State president, J&K National Trade Union Front in support of their demands which are regularization policy for all casual labours/ITI Trained Need Base and CP workers engaged after 1994 and immediate orders of leftover DRWs under SRO-64, formation of wages head in all Government Departments and release of pending wages of different departments without further delay.
Others present were Aijaz Ahmad, Satish Kumar, Bikram Jeet Singh, Yograj Sharma, Mohd Yousaf, Ab Ahad, Tariq Ahmad Mir Pampori, Bhanu Partab etc.
The casual labourers of PWD, PHE, Forest, Wild Life, Soil Conservaton, Floriculture, JDA, and Agriculture Department participated in the protest demonstration.
