Bollywood star Aamir Khan is in controversy when a case has been filed against him and the producer and director of the new movie ‘PK’ for which a media publicity was made.
The case was filed in the ACM(Seventh)Gagan Bharati against actor Aamir Khan, producer Vidu Vinod Chopra and director Raj Kumar Hirani under section 292 of the IPC for objectional promo of the film in newspapers.
The case was filed by a local lawyer Manoj Kumar. PK is an upcoming Hindi comedy-drama film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It stars Aamir Khan as the eponymous lead, with Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt appearing in supporting roles.
Hirani has stated that the film will be a satire on ‘God and godmen’. The film is scheduled for release on 19 December 2014. (UNI)
