JAMMU, Feb 3: Coaching centre, Career Abacus awarded its meritorious students in a function, held at Auditorium of Government Polytechnic College, here today.
Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta was the chief guest and Neelam Khajuria, Joint Director Tourism, Arun Khanna, Corporator Rehari and Surinder Choudhary Corporator Shakti Nagar were the guests of honour.
The function started with lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest followed by welcome address by Samridhi Mahajan. A demo of students was conducted by Shruti Gupta which left the audience spell bound with the speed and accuracy of kids.
Edha Badyal and Arman Gupta informed the parents about the advantages of abacus skill. Magic show was conducted by magician who entertained guests, parents and children. Kanan Mahajan, Vibha Katyal, Samaniya Sharma and Awaika Sharma were given the graduation degrees for completion of course.
The chief guest was impressed by the demo of students and stressed upon parents to teach this kind of skill to each and every child.
Director of Career Abacus Coaching center, Atul Gupta thanked the parents for their support. He informed the parents about the Playway School Building Blocks International Preschool being managed by their educational society is also imparting quality education to the young toddlers as they are running this playway school on no profit no loss basis.
Heads of branches Pawan Wadhera, Shruti Gupta, Neelam Sudan, Kanchan Gupta, Madhu Sharma and Gagandeep Sharma gave mementoes to meritorious students the function concluded with the singing of National Anthem.
