NEW DELHI, June 12: Cardamom prices fell 1.60 per cent to Rs 940 per kg in futures trading today as speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid subdued demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in June declined by Rs 15.30, or 1.60 per cent to Rs 940 per kg in business turnover of 4 lots.
Market analysts said besides profit-taking by speculators at existing levels, weak demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position, mainly led to the fall in cardamom prices at futures trade. (PTI)
