Captain Tushar paid tribute on 10th martyrdom anniversary

UDHAMPUR, Feb 21: A large number of people from all walks of life paid tribute to Captain Tushar Mahajan on his tenth martyrdom anniversary at Tushar Morh in Udhampur.
Officers from 9 Para, Army personnel, family members, and a large number of civil society members paid their homage to the braveheart, who made the supreme sacrifice during a counter-terrorism operation in Pampore in February 2016. Click here to watch video
Members of Captain Tushar Mahajan Memorial Trust, including Asha Gupta, Kalpana Jamwal, Ranjeet Parihar, Shevtak Singh, Satish Chopra, Dr Yogeshwar Singh, Dr Vikram Gulati, Deepankar Gupta and Karun Raina were among those who paid homage.
On this occasion, Dev Raj Gupta, Chairman of the Tushar Memorial Trust and father of martyr Tushar Mahajan, said, “It is a matter of pride for my family that our son gave his life for the country.” He said that Tushar’s statue inspires all youth to work for the unity and integrity of the country.
