Jammu, Jan 18: One day capacity building training programme which was sponsored and organised by National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC),New Delhi for the officers and Officials of the J&K Scheduled Castes,Scheduled Tribes and Backward classes Development Corporation concluded today.
The one day workshop was aimed to upgrade the capacity building skills of the officers/officials of the Corporation.The resource persons from NSFDC were CA Amit Bhatia, DGM,Projects and Pukhraj Meena, Executive , highlighted various schemes of GOI being implemented through NSFDC and also briefed about the schemes to be implemented by the J&K SC,ST & BC Dev.Corporation at nominal rates of interest for its target group i.e.,Scheduled Castes.
The Programme was attended by Ranjeet Singh, JKAS, Managing Director who was the guest of honour of the workshop. While highlighting the achievements of the corporation with respect to the timely repayment to NSFDC the Corporation is doing its best to recover the pending dues.
He further said that despite being regular in repayment and timely utilization of funds lifted from NSFDC, the corporation suggested some changes in lending policy .The resource persons from NSFDC assured that a proposal shall be taken up with their competent authorities for consideration that all prospective beneficiaries shall be provided an insurance cover for security of Corporation ‘s disbursed loans.
An interactive session was held between resource persons of NSFDC & officers and officials of J&K SC,ST&BC Dev.Corporation in which there was exchange of ideas and views for successful implementation of NSFDC schemes.
The workshop ended by felicitation of participants with certificates of participation in the workshop. Among others Roshina waheed FA&CAO , GQ khatana GM, Naveen kumar DGM, Anu Gupta AO, District Managers of Jammu division as well as Staff of HQ Jammu participated in the Training programme.
