Sir,
Operation Sindoor stands as a decisive and commendable response to the Pahalgam massacre, showcasing the strength and resolve of both our armed forces and political leadership. However, the ensuing political rhetoric from opposition parties is deeply disappointing. Instead of uniting behind national security, some leaders have chosen to question the success of the operation and spread unfounded claims, thereby giving credence to hostile propaganda. Mocking military decisions or demanding irrelevant details only undermines public morale and the global image of a resilient India. While democratic debate is essential, it must not cross into dangerous territory that weakens the country’s fight against terrorism. A political ceasefire is urgently needed. Let us not dilute the sacrifices of our brave soldiers with petty political point-scoring. National interest must prevail over party lines.
