Caged birds

Sir,
This letter is in response to the  edition of Daily Excelsior newspaper printed on 23rd of September 2015, which had  published a picture of few birds kept inside a cage.  The domestication of any kind of bird is immoral and it’s against the spirit of natural freedom. In everyday life we find that various kinds of birds are sold in open at some places like Gole Market (Gandhi Nagar, Jammu) etc. Keeping these birds inside a cage is completely an immoral and inhuman act and we should discourage those people who have this absurd desire to domesticate these rare and beautiful birds by putting them inside the cages by denying them their natural right to freedom.
Although various national as well as international organisations are working for the protection of natural rights of endangered species (birds as well as other animals), such as PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). There is no such law as well as no such organisation national as well as international that openly fights against this evil practice. We as human being love our freedom more than anything else, but as we don’t give any heed towards this evil practice (of caging birds) going on in our surroundings. As God has endowed every living being with divine right of freedom, so we as human being have no right to keep them inside cages for our pleasure and deny them their natural and divine freedom. So I request the government to frame strict laws against the domestication of birds inside cages or otherwise. I also urge civil society as well as everyone as human beings to please oppose openly such evil practices going on in our society.
Yours etc…
