JAMMU, June 14: The State Government has constituted a Cabinet Sub-Committee to examine the proposal regarding adoption of State Water Policy and plan in Jammu and Kashmir.
Headed by Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh as the Chairman, the Cabinet Sub-Committee shall be comprising Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment, Choudhary Lal Singh, Minister for Social Welfare, ARI & Training and Science and Technology, Sajjad Lone, Minister for Finance, Labour and Employment, Dr Haseeb Drabu and Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Choudhary Sham Lal as the members.
A formal order in this regard was issued today by the General Administration Department. This Cabinet Sub-Committee shall submit its report within a period of one month.
