Cabinet decides to give employment to brother of martyr

CHANDIGARH, June 28:
Haryana government today decided to give employment to the brother of martyr Ravinder Kumar, a resident of Kamla Nagar, Rohtak.
A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of the state cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar here.
As the policy is meant only for dependent son or daughter or wife who is not earning and was fully dependent on the martyr, the Cabinet relaxed the rules and considered the brother of martyr for employment as an exceptional case.
Martyr Ravinder Kumar had lost his life while discharging his duty in Jammu and Kashmir as he was guiding a dozer on July 10,2012, a tree which got uprooted from hillside due to landslide as a result of heavy rain along the Line of Control, rolled over Ravinder Kumar causing him serious injuries and death.
He being unmarried, his father requested that his younger son Naveen Kumar be given employment on compassionate grounds. His qualification is BA and is eligible for the post of Clerk. (UNI)
