Bhagat placed as Dir Planning
SRINAGAR, MAY 18- The Cabinet which met here today, under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, approved promotion of Mr. Ambarkar Shriram Dinkar and Mr Vinod Kumar, IPS officers of 2011 batch to the Senior Time Scale of IPS Pay Band-3 of Rs 15600-39100 with GP of Rs 6600 with effect from 1-1-2015.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet also approved promotion of Mr. H. R. Bhagat, Joint Director, Planning, as Director Planning in the pay scale of Rs 37400-67000 with GP of Rs. 8700.
The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the upgradation of the post of Assistant Director, Library in the Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs from existing pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800+ GP Rs. 4800 to the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100 + GP of Rs. 6600 and its re-designation as Deputy Director (Library) in the personal capacity of the incumbent namely Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Wani.
The post shall cease to exist immediately after transfer, promotion, and retirement etc of Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Wani and thereafter, the Post of Junior Librarian shall get restored in the department.

21 faculty positions sanctioned for GMC Jammu, Srinagar
SRINAGAR, MAY 18-The Cabinet which met here today, under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed accorded sanction to the creation of 21 posts of faculty members for Government Medical College, Jammu and Government Medical College, Srinagar.
The posts have been created to address the shortage of faculty in these Hospitals. These include one post each of Professor and Associate Professor in Gynae & Obstetrics department, two posts each of Professor and Associate Professor in Orthopedics department, one post of Professor in Anesthesia, one post of Professor in Ophthalmology, one post of Professor Physiology department and one post of Associate Professor each in Pharmacology and Surgery department in GMC, Jammu.
Similarly, in GMC, Srinagar, the faculty posts created include three posts of Professors and two posts of Associate Professors in Gynae & Obstetrics, two posts of Professors in Pediatrics and one post of Associate Professor in Pharmacology and two posts of Associate Professors in Surgery Departments.

Cabinet approves amendments to J&K Legal Services Authorities Act
SRINAGAR, MAY 18-The Cabinet which met here today, under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed approved the draft amendment Ordinance for amending sub section (3) of section 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Legal Services Authorities Act, 1997.
The proposed amendment provides for appointment of a judicial officer as Member-Secretary of the State Legal Services Authority.

Cabinet sub-committee for new recruitment Policy
SRINAGAR, MAY 18- The Cabinet which met here today, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed constituted a Cabinet Sub-Committee to look into the legal, operational and other aspects of the New Recruitment Policy which is presently on the anvil.
The Sub-Committee shall be headed by Deputy Chief Minister comprising Minister for Health and Medical education and ARI & Trainings, Minister for Social Welfare and Forest and Environment, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Relief & Rehabilitation, Minister for Finance, Labour & Employment and Culture and Minister for Education as members.
The Sub-Committee, to be serviced by the GAD, shall submit its report by 1st June, 2015.

Cabinet orders transfers, postings of Chief Engineers
SRINAGAR, MAY 18- The Cabinet which met here today, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed ordered the transfers and postings in R&B, PDD, and PHE departments.
Abdul Hamid Sheikh, Chief Engineer, R&B, Jammu, shall report to the Administrative Department for further posting.
D.D Gorkha, Chief Engineer, PMGSY, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Chief Engineer PMGSY thereby relieving A.K. Gandotra SE, PMGSY Kashmir of the charge of Chief Engineer, PMGSY Kashmir .
Raman Puri, Chief Engineer, Project Organization, (Mughal Road), has been transferred and Posted as Chief Engineer, SKIMS, Soura.
Alok Mengi, Chief Engineer ERA, has been transferred and Posted as Chief Engineer R&B Jammu.
Nayeem Ahmad, Chief Engineer, SKIMS, Soura has been transferred and Posted as Chief Engineer, PMGSY Jammu.
Ravinder Kumar Gupta, Chief Engineer, Chenab valley Power Corporation has been transferred and Posted as Chief Engineer, Project Organization (Mughal Road) with additional charge of Chenab Valley Power Corporation.
Ravinder Kumar Raina, Chief Engineer, awaiting orders of adjustment in the administrative department has been posted as Chief Engineer ERA, Jammu.
Amresh Raina, Director Stores and Procurement Department with additional Charge of Chief Engineer Mechanical Kashmir shall report to Administrative Department for further posting.
In the meanwhile, and as purely temporary measures Deepak Razdan, Chief Engineer Mechanical Jammu will hold additionally the charge of Director Stores and Procurement Department and Rajnesh Bal, SE, PHE (Mech) –Circle South Srinagar will look after the work of Chief Engineer Mechanical Kashmir in addition to his own duty.
Mr. Ravi Chanyal, Incharge Chief Engineer, Planning and Design Wing J&K, , has been transferred and posted as Incharge Chief Engineer, Systems and operations wing, Jammu relieving Mr. Ajay Gupta, Incharge Chief Engineer, Electric Maintenance and Rural Electrification Wing, Jammu of the additional Charge.
Mr. Som Raj Sharma has been recalled from deputation to J&K SPDCL and posted as Incharge Chief Engineer, Planning and Design Wing J&K.
Mr. Asgar Ali Majaz, Secretary (Technical), Power Development Department has been assigned additional charge of the post of Executive Director (Electrical) J&K SPDCL in addition to his existing responsibilities.
Cabinet also approved placement of Mr. Muzaffer Lanker, Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Kashmir, working in Pay Band-IV ((37400-67000) GP 8700, as Executive Director in the J&K SPDC in the pay band of 37400-67000 Grade pay 8900 against the available vacancy with immediate effect.
Consequent upon above and in the interest of administration, the following transfers/postings of Chief Engineers have been made.
Mr. Ahmad Muzaffer Lanker, Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Kashmir on his promotion as Executive Director has been transferred and posted as Executive Director, J&K SPDC against the available vacancy.
Mr. G. M. Bhat, Incharge Chief Engineer, presently on deputation to Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited has been recalled and posted as Incharge Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Kashmir.
Mr. Rajeev Gandotra, Incharge Chief Engineer, presently on deputation to J&K SPDC has been recalled and posted as Incharge Chief Engineer, I&FC Department, Jammu.
Mr. H. C. Jeerath, Incharge Chief Engineer, I&FC Department, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Incharge Chief Engineer, RTIC, Jammu.
Mr. K. K. Gupta, Incharge Chief Engineer, RTIC, Jammu has been transferred and deputed to Chenab Valley Power Project Limited.
Mr. Prem Nath, Incharge Chief Engineer on deputation to J&K SPDC has been recalled and posted as Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Jammu.
Mr. Sushil Aima, Incharge Chief Engineer, PHE Department, Jammu has been transferred and posted as Incharge Chief Engineer, Designs, Inspections and Quality Control.
Mr. Naresh Langeh, Chief Engineer, Designs, Inspections and Quality Control has been transferred and posted as Chief Engineer, Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED), Kashmir.
Mr. Mohammad Hanief Lone, Incharge Chief Engineer UEED Kashmir has been transferred and deputed to J&K SPDC.
