NEW DELHI: Indian star shuttlers Ajay Jayaram and Sai Praneeth have improved their rankings climbing one spot up in the latest World Badminton Rankings released today.
Jayaram has climbed one place up placing him at 15th spot while Praneeth too has moved one spot up at 17th position. Another Indian ace shuttler Kidambi Srikanth is the lone Indian featuring in top 10 in men’s singles. Srikanth in this slot remains static while HS Prannoy also stands firm at 23rd spot.
In women’s singles PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal remain static at no 5 and 15th. In men’s doubles none of the Indian pair feature in top 25 in the list, but in women’s doubles one pair has managed to reach in top 25. Ashwini Ponappa and N Sikki Reddy pair have improved their rankings climbing at 25th spot. In mixed doubles Pranaav Chopra and Sikki Reddy remain static at 18th spot. (AGENCIES)
