BVP organizes ‘Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan’

JAMMU, May 19: The Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Shivshakti Branch, Greater Kailash, organized a soulful ‘Guru Vandan Chhatra Abhinandan’ programme at Government High School, Greater Kailash, with active participation from the school faculty, students and BVP dignitaries.
BVP President Ravinder Sharma, Secretary Prabhat Singh, Treasurer Lalit Verma, Organizing Secretary Deepak Sharma, Vice President Baldev Dutta, Namrata Sharma, Anchal Sharma, Usha Rajput, Subhash Sharma, Vinod Padha, Sudershan Chowdhary, along with Jyoti Dutta, Mohani Verma, Vikas Raina, Hans Raj, Vijay Bali, and Ravinder Mansotra graced the event.
Anchal Sharma extended a warm welcome and introduced BVP and school members. Lalit Verma briefed on BVP’s mission and functioning, while Sunita Khajuria and Pratiba Dutta explained the tradition’s historical and cultural significance.
Over 150 students participated in the symbolic “Guru Vandan” ceremony. President Ravinder Sharma also spoke on “Operation Sindoor.” Two carpets (15’×12′) were donated for student use.
Headmistress Vandana Babu delivered a motivational address, urging students to pursue excellence. Prabhat Singh presented the vote of thanks.
