KATHUA, Feb 3: Some unknown thieves broke into a Manyari shop near Nagri Adha, in the town and decamped with currency-note garlands and cash worth Rs 50,000 here last night.
A police spokesman said that some burglars broke into the shop of one Joginder Pal, son of Om Parkash of Kathua on Nagri road here last mid night. They stolen the currency note garlands worth Rs 25,000 and Rs 25,000 cash (fresh currency notes), from the shop and escaped.
The owner came to know about the matter in the morning and informed police. Kathua police registered a case and started investigation.
