Burglary case solved

JAMMU, June 25: Police Station R S Pura has successfully solved a burglary case involving theft from a Government school in Banota area.
As per police, a written complaint was lodged by Kamlesh Kumari, Incharge of Government Primary School Banota, R S Pura, stating that during the intervening night of June 20 and 21, some unknown miscreants broke the lock of the School’s control room and stole several items including a ceiling fan, an inverter, a battery, an LED TV and a mattress.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, an FIR Number 121/2025 under sections 331(4)/305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered, and investigation was initiated without delay.
A special team led by PSI Ahtisham-ul-Haq and supervised by Station House Officer Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar was constituted to crack the case. The team used technical surveillance and local intelligence, including CCTV footage, to identify the suspected thief.
Following this breakthrough, the police successfully recovered the stolen property. Further investigation into the case is underway to ascertain if more individuals were involved.
