NEW DELHI : The first day of the Budget session of the new Lok Sabha today witnessed vociferous protests by Opposition
parties over the issue of price rise, leading to adjournment of the House till noon.
The Congress and its allies like the NCP and the RJD, the Trinamool Congress, the SP, members of the Left and other parties,
who had given notice for a discussion over the price rise and some other issues, wanted the Question Hour to be suspended for the debate.
As soon as the House had gone through obituary references, the members stood in their seats and several of them belonging to all Opposition parties moved into the Well shouting slogans. (AGENCIES)
