BTTF to organise 2nd edition of Bharat Tex 2025-Handicrafts

JAMMU, Feb 11: The 2nd edition of Bharat Tex 2025 – Handicrafts is set to take place from 12th to 15th February 2025 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.
The event will be organized by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation (BTTF) and supported by the Ministry of Textiles, GoI, spans across two major venues: the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida (12th–15th February) and Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi (14th–17th February).
This was informed by Dileep Baid, Chairman of the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), during a function today.
Speaking on the occasion, Baid said, “The event will be a perfect blend of India’s traditional craftsmanship and modern technological advancements. With over 600 exhibitors, including renowned exporters, young designers, startups and artisans, the exhibition will feature 15 categories such as gifts, decorative items, home furnishings, fashion jewellery, lamps, lighting, handmade paper products, leather bags, candles, GI products, traditional toys and much more.”
Dr Rakesh Kumar, Chief Mentor in the role of Director-General at EPCH, emphasized the intersection between handicrafts and textiles, noting how products such as furniture, upholstery and handcrafted accessories complement each other.
“Bharat Tex 2025 gives buyers a unique opportunity to explore a full spectrum of possibilities and create the perfect ‘Look’ and ‘Feel’ for their businesses,” he said.
Dr Neeraj Khanna, Vice Chairman of EPCH, further shared that visitors will have the chance to source these exclusive GI-certified items.
Bharat Tex 2025 will also feature Traditional Toys, Live Craft Demonstrations and a Designers Showcase, offering a glimpse into the diverse and dynamic world of Indian handicrafts.
A key aspect of the event will be the interactive sessions and panel discussions on important topics such as ESG in Quality Parameters, Cross-Border Trade Financing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Seamless GST Refunds for Exporters.
