BSP will form next Govt in J&K: Dharmveer

JAMMU, July 11: Central coordinator of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Dharmveer Singh Ashok today claimed that the party will form the next Government in Jammu and Kashmir.
He was addressing review meetings organized by the party in Kishtwar and Udhampur districts on Friday. The meetings, aimed at strengthening the organizational structure and reviewing the political scenario in the Union Territory, witnessed participation from senior party leaders and grassroots functionaries.
Along with Dharmveer Singh Ashok, BSP central coordinator Daya Chand and J&K BSP president Darshan Rana also addressed the gatherings. District Kishtwar president Sumit Kumar, District Udhampur president Shyam Lal, Zone incharge Doda-Kishtwar Amit Bhagat, and Zone incharge Udhampur-Ramban-Reasi Mangal Dass, along with district and assembly committee members, were also present.
Ashok, in a scathing attack on Congress, BJP, National Conference and PDP, accused them of misleading the people and practicing divisive politics based on region and religion. He said the current Government has failed to meet the expectations of the people, and it is time for an alternative that genuinely works for the public’s welfare. He called upon BSP workers to strengthen the party at the grassroots level to ensure electoral success in the Union Territory.
Echoing Ashok’s remarks, Daya Chand said that the BSP is steadily gaining momentum in J&K and will contest all upcoming elections with full strength. He emphasized the party’s commitment to inclusive politics and social justice.
J&K BSP president Darshan Rana highlighted the party’s ongoing membership campaign, stating that lakhs of people have joined the BSP across the region. He added that the party is working tirelessly to uplift backward and marginalized communities.
District and zonal leaders also shared updates on organizational activities and the growing support for the BSP in their respective regions. The meetings concluded with a collective pledge to intensify public outreach and prepare for a strong electoral performance in the upcoming polls.
