KATHUA, Nov 23: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) organized an important organizational meeting in Jasrota Vidhan Sabha under the leadership of Raman Kumar, District president Kathua.
The event was attended by Darshan Rana, BSP president for UT of Jammu & Kashmir while former MP and Central coordinator Ashok Sidharth was chief guest, along with Central coordinator Nittan Singh as guest of honour.
The meeting focused on strengthening the BSP organization at the booth, sector, and assembly levels. Party cadre was directed to intensify efforts for social transformation, equality, and the upliftment of downtrodden and marginalized communities. The leadership emphasized the importance of building a disciplined and united cadre, deeply connected with the public.
Prominent leaders present on the occasion included -Sunil Majotra (State Coordinator), Raman Kumar (District president Kathua), Sandeep Majotra (DDC), Gulshan Kumar, Bansi Lal and several other district- and assembly-level leaders.
Discussions centered on expanding the party’s grassroots presence and strengthening its role as a political platform dedicated to social justice and constitutional values.
Addressing the cadre, BSP president Darshan Rana stressed the need for continuous review meetings, mass outreach drives, and direct engagement with people at the grassroots level, ensuring that BSP’s ideology and policies effectively reach every household. He reiterated BSP’s commitment towards the empowerment of Scheduled Castes, OBCs, minorities, and all deprived communities in the Union Territory.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of BSP’s mission to work tirelessly for the rights, dignity, and socio-economic upliftment of marginalized sections of society in Jammu & Kashmir.
